Spaetzle is a specialty noodle of mostly Southern German, Austrian, and Hungarian origin. Add finely chopped spinach to the dough for spinach spaetzle, or grated cheese for cheese spaetzle. You can also add butter, cinnamon, and sugar to the dough for a fabulous dessert.
